Spring has sprung, and so have sales on apparel. Below are a few outfit essentials that won’t break the bank. Every item shown came from my personal closet and was either thrifted or bought off of a sales rack for roughly $7 to $15. Check out your local secondhand stores or visit the websites mentioned to shop similar looks.
Rompers
Rompers
Rompers are probably my #1 favorite thing to wear in springtime. They are lightweight, comfortable, and easy to throw on and go. Rompers are like the sundress’s cousin, who is equally cute but honestly just more fun to be around. Above all, they provide the same great qualities without the fear of flashing anyone. Shop rompers at Zaful starting at $5.49 or at MakeMeChic starting at $9.90.
Sets
If you are a fan of a little midriff, two-piece sets should be at the top of your list this spring. The best thing about sets is that they are usually super versatile. Sets can stand alone for a minimalistic look as shown or be heavily accessorized. You can also add outwear, hose and boots to this look and bring itback for the fall. Shop sets from $9.99 at Zaful or from $11.90 at MakeMeChic.
High-waisted bottoms
High-waisted skirts and shorts are always a good idea in crop top weather, and breezy shear fabrics make a good go-to in Texas “springtime.” As an added little bonus, bottoms with a high waist do a lot to accentuate your shape. Shop maxi shirts from $8.99 and high-waisted shorts from $15.90 at Forever 21. Shop similar looks at MakeMeChic starting at $10.00.
