Dallas campus holds Student Organization Fair

If you’re one of many students who does not live in Denton near our main campus, TWU’s Student Government Association (SGA) and Student Life are co-hosting an event for you at the Dallas campus. Next Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 pm in room 3620, you can enjoy a yummy soda pop float while learning about the many diverse student organizations that TWU has to offer. This is a great opportunity and one you do not want to miss. How long has it been since somebody has won over your heart with a delicious mix of soda and ice cream? But I digress.

With information about all the student organizations you can be a part of, the Student Involvement Fair will help you find a group of people you can call your own. It is a great way for new members from each organization to meet new friends and expand their communities.

Something students do not usually think about too much, especially incoming freshman, is that being a part of a group is not only good for the community, but good for you.

Bonus, your resume will fill up with exciting experiences while you are busy hanging out with new friends.

The first step to making friends is coming out to SGA’s carefully planned event, the Student Involvement Fair, that is engineered to help you do just that. Plus, did I mention soda pop floats?
