Blotter: Wallet stolen from student’s car in Pioneer Hall lot

This blotter covers Nov. 2 – 10.

An unknown suspect burglarized a student-owned vehicle in the parking lot by Pioneer Hall  Nov. 8 between the hours of 3 a.m. and 8 p.m., according to a police report.

A handbag containing a wallet with a driver’s license and Social Security card was stolen from the unlocked vehicle. There are no witnesses and it’s unknown if there was a camera in view, Lt. David Law said. 

The victim does not want to press charges.

Response activity – TWU’s Department of Public Safety responded to 334 dispatched and officer-initiated calls between Nov. 2 and Nov. 10.
