Theft of Property (over $100 but less than $750) occurred on Sept. 10 at Stark Hall.
A staff member informed police that a wagon full of assorted snacks and her personal JBL Flip Bluetooth speaker was stolen from her office. The victim said she would like to file charges, but she would not file charges if she got her speaker back. The case is currently under investigation.
A harassment complaint was reported on Sept. 14 in the Texas Woman’s University Department of Public Safety lobby.
A student informed police that she has been receiving unsolicited text messages for approximately two years from various fake or spoofed phone numbers. The student believes the suspect to be someone that she knows, and she wants the communication to stop. The case is currently under investigation.
Response activity: TWU’s Department of Public Safety responded to 140 calls for service between Sept. 7 and Sept. 15.
