On Sept. 13, TWU Student Life will be hosting an open mic night from 6-8 p.m. in the Student Union room 207. This event is open to all TWU students, staff and faculty members. Those attending are encouraged to take on the stage and show the crowd their talents. Talents can include singing, poetry and stand-up comedy. Each act can last up to three minutes, so be sure to give it your all in the time given.
If you need props, be sure to bring those along with you because performers will only be provided with microphones. At the event, brunch food will be served. At the end of the night, attendees will have the opportunity to listen to the talents of COMETRY, which Student Life claims is an “unforgettable duo blending stand-up comedy and spoken word.”
