Winner, winner, Denton gets a chicken dinner.

The Southern fast-food chain, Raising Cane’s, best known for its chicken strips and secret-recipe Cane’s sauce will be opening a restaurant in Rayzor Ranch early this spring.

The Louisiana-based chain recently broke ground on a 2,700-square-foot restaurant at 2705 West University Drive and is set to open early this spring.

Area Director of Operations Tommy Van Wolfe said: “We’ve had our eye on Denton, and Rayzor Ranch in particular, for a long time, so we’re very excited to finally bring our ONE LOVE to the northwestern part of the Metroplex. We’re also looking forward to getting involved in the local community, supporting the schools and other organizations that help make this such a vibrant family area.”

In the coming weeks the company will be looking to hire around 50 new crewmembers for the 35th Raising Cane’s in the DFW market.
