TWU is here to help

TWU has multiple resources and services that are dedicated to helping students academically. These resources consist of the Write Site, the Math & Technology Success Center and the Science Learning Resource Center (SLRC).

The Write Site provides help at any stage of the writing process for any class. Undergraduate students can have up to two hours of appointment time a week, and graduate students can have up to four hours.

“The Write Site was extremely helpful to me for my first essay in my ENG 1013 class,” freshman Hilary Smith said. “They gave me helpful tips and taught me how to format correctly.”

There is also online writing instruction available for students who do not have time for in-person communication. For more information about how the Write Site can help and how to schedule an appointment, follow this link https://www.twu.edu/write-site/.

The Math & Technology Success Center assists students who need help in math or technology through tutoring. Tutoring can either be one-on-one or group tutoring and is available for anyone enrolled in a math or technology course. Visit https://www.twu.edu/mtsc/ for more information about tutoring hours and location.

SLRC provides tutoring for students who need help in science classes. The tutoring supplied coincides with classroom instruction. Assistance with homework and clarification on assignments is also given. Follow this link https://twu.edu/slrc/ for additional information about this resource.

These tutoring services are available to all TWU students and they are free of charge.
