Get a little twisted this Valentine’s Day

Looking for a creative way to spend Valentine’s Day? Surprise your partner with a paint date at Painting with a Twist! Spoiler alert: the twist is

PWAT is a chain of art studios hosting BYOB painting classes every week – they provide the art supplies, and you bring your beverage of choice. Attendees follow along step-by-step with a professional painter to create their very own work of art (while also working on a bottle of wine.) Here is an overview of upcoming Valentine’s Day themed sessions at the PWAT Denton, Dallas and Houston-Midtown locations:



On Mon., Feb. 13, the Denton location is holding a Gal-entine’s Day session dedicated to friendship called  “Friends…/MANIC MONDAY” from 7 to 9 p.m. The minimum age for this session is 13. On Tues., Feb. 14, “Love You More” and “Love Song Set” sessions will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. These sessions are 18+. Click here to preview paintings.



On Tue., Feb. 14, the “Umbrella for Two” session will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at PWAT Dallas. This session is 18+. If you weren’t able to get off work for Valentine’s, don’t worry! A “Love Vines” sessions will also be available Wed., Feb. 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. This session is 16+. Click here to preview paintings.



On Tue., Feb. 14, the Houston-Midtown location will be hosting three couple sets: “Wet Kiss Set”  from 5 to 7 p.m., “Mahogany Couples Set”  from 7 to 9 p.m. and “Lover’s Tree Set” from 8 to 10 p.m. In set sessions, couples create stand-alone paintings that fit together to make a larger picture when placed side-by-side. Please note: Painting with a Twist does not permit underage drinking. Attendees must be 21 to drink, regardless of each session’s age minimum. Individuals who bring alcoholic beverages will have their IDs checked.
