Experience Little Elm

Denton is home to many students at Texas Woman’s University, but some students may have the desire to venture outside of the city. Little Elm, a city just 30 minutes outside of Denton, is giving students a chance to explore the world around Denton without breaking their wallets by hosting a Taste of Little Elm.

Saturday, Nov. 3, the town of Little Elm is inviting guests from around the metroplex to come experience a little bit of what the city is like. The event will take place at Little Elm Park. Starting at 1 p.m., the Taste of Little Elm will show visitors and residents alike what makes Little Elm unique. According to its website, Taste of Little Elm will feature food from its most treasured restaurants and some adult beverages to spice up the fun. The extravaganza will go from 1-5 p.m., and there will be activities for both children and adults. Live music will keep attendees entertained during the entire event.

The price for general admission is $40, and children who are 12 and younger will have free entry. General admission will include “entry into the event, unlimited food sampling and three drink tickets good for wine or beers,” according to the website.

Taste of Little Elm will give students an opportunity to see what life outside of Denton looks for a relatively affordable price. As the website says, students can discover “why no one is a stranger in these parts.”
