Ah, February… the month of love, chocolates and excruciating stress as you try to plan the most amazing date ever on arguably the most important day of the year for couples everywhere. Isn’t it wonderful?
But this year, I’ve made your life indefinitely easier by compiling a short list of Valentine’s day date spots. And don’t worry, if you’re spending this Valentine’s with your besties, I’ve also put together some cutesy spots for y’all to hit.
Valentine’s
Hannah’s Off The Square

It may be tempting to drive all the way to Dallas for fine dining, but instead save on gas and support Denton businesses by heading on over to Hannah’s. Located within the Historic Downtown District inside a former blacksmith shop, Hannah’s “creates an eclectic cuisine that mirrors the artistic essence of Denton,” complete with fresh, local ingredients. The warm and inviting casual fine dining atmosphere will surely create lasting memories between you and your date.
Beth Marie’s Valentine’s Day Envelopes

Gemini Peach and Rose Farm

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet… oh Juliet, ever the romantic. Even more romantic, naming a hybrid rose after your significant other and then taking them to go pick it! At Gemini Peach and Rose Farm, there are over 250 different varieties of commercially available roses on sale for $10 a dozen, or $1 apiece. Simply bring your own container and Gemini Farms will provide the rest. You can also buy entire rose bushes for $25 and, for another fun date, they also offer peach picking in the summer time.
Galentine’s
Three Roses Tea Room & Gifts

Operating as a family-owned and woman-run small business, Three Roses Tea Room offers a traditional afternoon tea. You and your galentines will be treated to an array of homemade delights such as flaky scones, tea sandwiches, and a selection of seasonal pastries. Three Roses also offers ‘Themed Afternoon Tea’ each Saturday and Sunday, by reservation only, featuring monthly menus inspired by different books. Their theme for February is Pride and Prejudice (insert the iconic hand flex here), which seems only fitting for such a romantic month.
Plot Twist Book Bar

Who needs a valentine when you can get lost in the pages of an addictive romance novel? The Plot Twist is an independent romance bookstore and bar that carries over 10 different sub-genres of romantic novels and a rotating bar menu that features a variety of book-inspired cocktails and mocktails. Gather up your besties and get ready to drool over your favorite fictional characters!
Wildflower Art Studio

Do you remember that one scene in the movie “Ghost?” Patrick Swayze, the man you are… Well, now you can recreate it with your girls by heading on over to Wildflower Art Studio and booking their Galentine’s Pottery workshop! If clay’s not your thing, fret not. They also offer a variety of other workshops, such as watercolor valentines cards and love letter stained glass. Together, you’ll enjoy a relaxing and creative evening.
