To be heard in the upcoming election, head up to Harvest House on Friday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. to have a drink and write postcards for Andrew Morris, who is running for Texas House District 64. Art supplies will be provided. Check out the event on Facebook here.

Also, beginning at 10 a.m. on Sept. 15, the Dallas Pride Celebration, hosted by Campuzano Mexican Food, kicks off on Oak Lawn Ave and will last all weekend with happy hour specials for all over the age of 21. To save gas money and stay in Denton, the One City Music and Arts Festival is happening at Planter’s Plantation on Saturday, Sept. 15 beginning at 12 p.m. and lasting through 10 p.m..
