Park After Dark

Denton County Historical Park may seem normal during the day, but there is a whole other darker side once the sun goes down. Come and see what horrors Denton may hold on Oct. 20 and Oct. 21.

The Bayless-Selby House has probably never been anything of interest to the average eye, but the place actually has some secrets to offer to those who dare approach. On the night of Nov. 22 of 1919, there was a cold-blooded murder in the Bayless- Selby House. It is still unsure if the house is still haunted by the restless ghost of the victim, Mr. Bayless.

If you have the guts to find out for yourself, make your way down to the house in Denton County Historical Park Oct. 20-21 and search the spooky halls of the house from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be free tours available to ghost hunters on both nights, so be prepared to hear from key witnesses and gossip mongers what really happened on that frightful night.
