On Oct. 12 the TWU admissions office will be holding a Graduate and Professional Fair for prospective graduate school and professional program students. The fair will be in two-parts, leading off with a “Graduate School: The Guide to Getting In” informational session from Ashton Brown, Assistant Director of Admissions. The session will be held in the ACT building, room 301 at 3 p.m. Brown will talk to potential graduate students about universities that offer graduate and professional programs, graduate school requirements, applicable exams, financial aid and scholarships available.

After “Graduate School: The Guide to Getting In,” the Graduate and Professional School Fair will be held in the Student Union from 4–6 p.m. According to Brown: “Approximately 70 participating schools, colleges and programs will be on site with a representative to discuss the programs and financial options along with all the participating departments here at TWU.”

Brown highly recommends all juniors and seniors who are planning on enrolling in graduate school or professional programs to attend. He shared: “Students can do some pre-planning, know what to expect, set new goals and explore the different options available to them. In the session before the fair I will be discussing the requirements and talking about the different types of admission offers.”

There will also be a drawing to win a $1000 TWU Graduate Student Award for Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 semester tuition and fees.
