Get Outta Your Mind held to de-stress students

To celebrate the end of the fall semester the Campus Activities Board will host Get Outta Your Mind, a ‘90s themed party from 9 p.m. until midnight on Nov. 19 at Hubbard Hall.

CAB has hosted Get Outta Your Mind for the past four years, hoping to provide students with a detox from stress in a healthy environment when finals are drawing near. In the past this event has had a turn out of 500 students.

CAB Public Relations officer senior sciences and disorders major Bailey Whatley explains: “Get Outta Your Mind is CAB’s last semester event, and it’s just a big party to relieve stress from the craziness of the end of the semester.”

Students can expect the music, decorations, giveaways and free food to flaunt a ‘90s theme. CAB wants students to take a minute to enjoy themselves before finals hit by relaxing with them in their best ‘90s get-up at the party.

Whatley shared: “Get Outta Your Mind is good for students because [they] start getting tired of school and stressed, and this gives them an alternative stress release in a healthy environment. It’s a party to come chill at with your friends, hang out and eat free food.”
