Denton Parks and Rec offers ultimate cheap date

Broke and bored is a state of mind most college students can relate to.

The majority of entertainment is costly or inconvenient, but Denton Parks and Rec is hosting Free Movies in the Park on Fridays: Sept. 22, Oct. 20 and Oct. 27. The movies being shown are “The Boss Baby” on Sept. 22, “Guardians of the Galaxy” on Oct. 20 and  “Beauty and the Beast” on Oct. 27. These showings are free of charge and located in Quakertown Park.

Cost-effective

This event alone provides entertainment, food, and a creative outlet for no cost, which is hard to come by in college. For pretty low prices beverages, various snacks, and glow in the dark cotton candy will be available at all three screenings. This event provides food and entertainment, which is basically gold for broke and bored college students, and its an excuse to get some fresh air and out of cramped apartments or dorm rooms.
