TWU’s Art Honors Society Delta Phi Delta will host its 33rd annual Italian Night Nov. 3 from 5-7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building. The event will feature students’ artwork and a variety of delicious Italian food. President and Junior Fine Arts Major with a concentration in Painting Ashlyn Lee said: “Dr. John Calabrese is Italian and from New Jersey, and him and his wife make these fantastic Italian dishes. That’s what most people look forward to.”

The homemade dishes will include capellini (angel hair) pasta with vongole (clams), penne pasta with broccoli rapi and pizzelle cookies with anise. The all-you-can-eat buffet will also feature several gluten-free and vegetarian options as well as pasta, pizza, bread and salads donated from local Italian restaurants. The Lucky Seven art exhibition showcasing graduate and undergraduate students’ work will also take place.

Tickets are available for purchase online or at stands in the Art Foyer and Student Union. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door, and children under eight are admitted for free. All funds will go to scholarships to help art scholars who are active members in Delta Phi Delta.
