creditVintage VarietyOn Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6, all 20 acres of the North Texas Fair and Rodeo grounds will be taken over by the Vintage Variety Market with over 130 vendors.

The marketplace will open to the public at 9 a.m. and will close at 5 p.m. on Saturday. On Sunday the marketplace will open at 10 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. There will be a $5 admission fee taken at the gate.

Owner and President of Vintage Variety Market Renea Richardson shared: “We have anywhere from vintage, redone items and antique furniture to boutique clothing and handmade jewelry. We also have homemade jams and jellies that are all organic and a vendor who makes all of her soap and lotion products from goat’s milk.”

The North Texas Vintage Variety marketplace has something for everyone – food vendors, live entertainment and bounce houses for the kids. There will also be beer, wine and margaritas available and a local winery vendor will be present for wine tasting.

The North Texas Vintage Variety Marketplace appeals to all ages, and there will be several vendors geared towards the younger students. Richardson said: “We have a lot of things I think TWU students would enjoy and purchase. You
do not have to be into antiques to find something that interests you at the marketplace.”

This is the first time Vintage Variety will have a marketplace at the fair grounds, and three additional dates are in the works for future marketplaces at the fair grounds.
